Full Line & Zero Line
Level 1: Easy
A line with clue 0 is entirely crossed out, and a line whose clues plus mandatory gaps match its length is completely determined.
Two lines need no thinking at all. A line with the clue 0 has no blocks, so every cell is crossed out.
A line whose clues, plus one empty cell between each pair of blocks, add up to exactly its length has only one possible layout. Here 2 + 1 + 1 plus two gaps is 6 cells, so the line is fully decided.
Always scan for these first. They give you anchors for every other technique.
